We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper, and metals from the waste stream.
WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to join the IT organization. As a Senior IT Technical Analyst, you will analyze and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring smooth operations and providing technical guidance and support to the IT business applications team . You will contribute to the overall success of the organization by implementing effective solutions and driving continuous improvement. This role requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a solid knowledge of IT systems and processes. Expert SQL data analysis skills are required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, working closely with end-users and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Provide technical guidance and support to business analysts, helping them in problem-solving and technical decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Evaluate and recommend system upgrades, software installations, and technology enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Conduct research on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to address business needs.
Monitor and maintain system performance, conducting regular audits and providing recommendations for optimization and improvement.
Lead and participate in technical projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget and scope.
Collaborate with vendors and external partners to implement and support technology solutions, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
Stay updated with industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to security protocols
Complete data analysis and mapping tasks in support of multiple system integration projects
Required Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, and experienced in software development methodologies and frameworks.
Solid understanding of database management and expert skills writing SQL queries
In-depth knowledge of system administration, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity protocols.
Extensive experience mapping data between applications and APIs to support data integration projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Extensive experience in troubleshooting technical issues and providing user support, with a customer-oriented approach..
Proficient in cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure, with experience in virtualization and containerization technologies.
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical analyst role, with experience in a senior or leadership position preferred.
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and industry standards.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage technical projects.
