Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Pooler, Georgia
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk based in Pooler, Georgia, United States. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries within our team. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer credit accounts and taking the necessary steps to collect delinquent payments.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit
• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly
• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Reconcile account balances
• Handle billing tasks and cash applications efficiently
• Manage cash collections and commercial collections
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Receivable role
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Experience with Billing procedures
• Familiarity with Cash Applications and Cash Collections
• Experience in Commercial Collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with Oracle and QuickBooks software is beneficial
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred
