Join our team as a Field Service Lab Tech! We are a premier producer of quality lubricants, process oils, greases, and Excel metalworking fluids with over 50 years of industry experience, offering a competitive advantage that includes blending and custom formulating to our partners. We are currently looking for an additional Field Services Technician due to growth in our distribution. The successful candidate will report to the Laboratory Manager. In this role, you will provide technical support, guidance, and reports for both internal and external stakeholders, visit customer sites for sampling, support, and troubleshooting activities, and respond to technical queries and provide necessary documentation to customers or the sales team. Additional duties include performing customer machine cleanouts as needed, supporting new product trials, participating in technical training programs, and undertaking other lab projects and tasks assigned by the lab manager as needed. Please note that this role requires occasional overnight travel for distribution-related activities.

Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Pontiac, Michigan and some days remote.
Work Environment
In this role, you will primarily work in a lab environment when at HQ. When traveling to client sites, which are manufacturing and machine shops that utilize our lubricants, you should be comfortable working in a production environment that can be dirty.
