Aston Carter Accounts Payable Specialist in Plymouth, Minnesota

Description:

  • Process, record, verify and pay invoices and expenses for goods and services on a timely basis.

  • Respond to vendor queries and enter data for payments for our Finance Department.

  • Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.

  • Posts domestic and international invoices

  • Prepares and analyzes the GR/IR (Goods Received/Invoice Received) reporting and distributes to purchasing teams

  • Maintains, analyzes and reconciles accounts payable ledger accounts

  • Reviews vendor statements and communicates with vendors regarding payment status

  • May process colleague expenses/reimbursement requests for payment

  • May assist purchasing agents and other colleagues with miscellaneous paperwork and reporting

  • Prepares a variety of reports, analyzes data and identifies/recommends solutions

  • Develops, directs, plans and evaluates accounts payable policies and procedures,
