Joh Title: Oxford - Network Manager.
Joh Overview: These tasks may include installation of desktop computers, printers and assisting users with technical problems. Sustain the necessary data throughput rate by monitoring networking activity and maintaining existing equipment. Respond to network connectivity issues and resolve any communication issues within the confines of the office. Update the network maintenance manual and submit a summary of changes to the manual each week to management. Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure that the network stays operational.
Able to Implement equipment installation plans based on the Network Administrator's specifications, maintain each component of the network and troubleshoot issues.
The Network Manager will assist in monitoring the network firewall, assessing the functionality of the
routers and assisting in ensuring all internet security software is current.
Responsibilities and Duties: Maintaining and optimizing network services management facilities in a
complex communications environment requiring interoperability, reliability and security.
Ability to oversee the development of detailed project plans, and monitor progress Strong knowledge of Cisco equipment including 6500, 7200, VPN 3000, FWSM, PIX, Strong experience with content load balancing (F5, CSS... ), Strong knowledge of communication technologies such as: TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, QOS, VoIP, ATM, Frame Relay, MPLS, and telephony, Strong Knowledge in JP Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP., .), Able to work beyond core business hours when necessary to avoid business interruption during planned or unplanned security system modifications. Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Must be able to communicate written and orally in English.
