Overview

Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to support Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes, act as a key finance partner, and contribute to financial transformation initiatives. This role will help facilitate company-wide spend planning, forecasting, and reporting while collaborating with various business units. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and communication skills, along with a demonstrated ability to optimize financial processes and work cross-functionally to enhance decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support company-wide spend planning and forecasting by consolidating data, conducting insightful financial modeling and analysis, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.

  • Perform forecast validation, identifying key variances, analyzing root causes, and reconciling forecasts with corporate targets, while also supporting ad-hoc requests and analysis as needed.

  • Prepare in-depth financial summaries and reports to support leadership during the quarterly close process.

  • Prepare financial presentations and assemble forecast decks, including spend-related slides, by collecting and structuring relevant data to support executive discussions.

  • Serve as primary business owner of spend forecast & headcount models in Anaplan and oversee the spend forecasting processes, developing insights into risks and opportunities within the business and assessing implications to corporate-level finance goals and strategies.

  • Own the merit forecasting process and assist with the fringe forecast by collaborating with HR compensation and benefit teams during budgeting and forecasting to maintain rates for annual incentive plans (AIP), vacation, and fringe benefits.

  • Contribute to the digitization and optimization of financial planning processes by supporting the adoption of Anaplan and other cloud-based platforms.

  • Drive efficiency improvements by continuously refining internal processes to achieve more scalable and accurate financial results.

  • Maintain SharePoint documentation and develop training materials, including user guides and short videos, to support finance business partners (FBPs) in effectively utilizing Anaplan.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred).

  • 6+ years of related finance experience, preferably in FP&A or corporate finance roles.

  • Strong financial modeling and problem-solving skills with experience in forecasting and spend analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with financial planning tools such as Anaplan, SAP, Business Objects, and PowerBI is preferred.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,400 and $173,800. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
