Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the manufacturing industry, situated in Phoenix, Arizona. The selected candidate will be tasked with managing and processing invoices, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process and enter invoices on a monthly basis.
• Manage the approval process for all invoices and ensure they are paid promptly.
• Liaise with various departments and vendors to resolve any invoice-related issues.
• Apply analytical skills to identify the root cause of any discrepancies and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage time effectively and adhere strictly to deadlines, displaying the ability to work under pressure.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Utilize accounting software systems for data entry and check processing.
• Manage accounts payable and other accounting functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer systems and software applications. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC)
• Experience with IBM AS/400
• Understanding of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
• Knowledge of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to process checks
• Data Entry skills
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
