POSITION SUMMARY

We are recruiting for a hard-working and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team.

What you will do:

Reporting directly into the Engineering Supervisor, our new Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

• Responding and tending to guest repair requests

• Perform preventative maintenance on tools, kitchen and room equipment

• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition of parts and supplies as needed

• Perform general repair, painting and decorating tasks

• Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in the following categories;

• Air condition and refrigeration

• Electrical

• Mechanical

• Plumbing

• Pneumatic / electronic systems and controls

• Carpentry and finish skills

• Energy conservation

This role covers the entirety of the hotel operation, delivering 24/7 service and the team work on a rotating basis to cover these hours.
