Abbott FP&A Manager in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Primary Job Function:
Support executive team to develop strategic plans and implements them cross-functionally. Analyst supports in developing and managing customer business plans, provides critical analytical support, and manages the overall scenario planning framework.
Provides analytical and project management support in the development of divisional strategic plans, initiatives, and special projects.
Supports the Financial Controller in evaluating opportunities and building reports/business cases to enable proper and timely affiliate feedback and generate more affiliate driven deals.
Continuous process improvement
Monthly financial closing, analysis and repo
Core Job Responsibilities:
Financial analysis working closely with Finance Controller
Support in drafting key strategic initiatives and monitor execution
Identify key projects and work closely with team to drive execution
Effective tracking and communication of project status and metrics
Support the creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and tools
Support team in building key presentations
Involvement in various projects related to execution of Commercial strategy
Provide support on data analysis to build solid decision on the opportunity (Go or Not Go) within the required timeline.
Prepare forecast model on the product opportunity using available or given tools or develop a new forecast model that is more relevant to the opportunity within the required timeline
Business partnering to provide financial analysis and advice for decision making
P&L and Cashflow forecasting and analysis using Excel
Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree in Finance
4+ years’ experience in MNC environment at financial analysis positions; with strong analytical mind and technique for planningand execution.
Advance computer knowledge in Excel and Powerpoint
Pro-active mindset; willingness to learn and be a fast learner.
Good oral and written communication skills in English.
Task oriented (respect deadlines).
Able to work in a multicultural environment
Ability to work on short timelines for ad hoc requests
