ManpowerGroup Environmental Specialist I in Pensacola, Florida
Our client, in Pensacola, Florida is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join their team. As an Environmental Specialist I, you will be part of the Environmental Team supporting the Environmental Safety of Pensacola. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, ability to withstand extreme temperatures and great work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Environmental Specialist I
Location: Pensacola, Florida
Pay Range: $24/hr-$26/hr
What’s the Job?
Closely following policies and procedures to test and sample streams in the area
Manifesting, packaging, labeling, loading and off loading, coordinating transportation
Spill clean up response enforcing all compliance, health, safety and procedures in accordance with policies
Becoming familiar with U.S Department of Transportation and the Environmental Protection Agency
Operate and maintain all equipment in a professional manner to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness
What’s Needed?
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related science discipline preferred
Strong team player, excellent interpersonal skills, time management effective communications and strong customer service orientation
Proficient with technology
Ability to continuously wear PPE; Lift, bend, walk, twist, sit and stand frequently
40-hour HAZWOPER certification
