Summary You will serve as an OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH PROGRAM ASSISTANT (MEDICAL RECORDS) in the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (OSHE) Office, Code 106.1 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will assist the Medical Surveillance Program Manager with the Medical Surveillance program (MSP). You will enroll employees in medical surveillance programs based on standard criteria. You will define, modify, and reformat required data/information and define methods of providing information to the customer. You will perform quality control review of input/output data ensuring legibility, completeness, and quality. You will Input data into the Medical Examination Scheduling (MES) database (or replacement) and Supervisor Desk (SUPDESK) using the workstation. You will develop metrics for presentation and reporting of different aspects of the medical surveillance examinations process. You will assist the program manager in testing new or modified programs by identifying processing problems during tests. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing database systems (such as the Medical Examination System (MES) or Supervisor Desk (SUPDESK)) to track employee's medical enrollment, appointment and qualifications in support of a medical surveillance program. Examples of qualifying experience include reviewing records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations; scanning documents into an electronic database; preparing correspondence; compiling information; tracking information in a database and/or spreadsheet.
