Amentum COMSUBPAC Special Programs Equipment Planner in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
Amentum is seeking a dynamic and innovative Special Programs Equipment Planner to provide planning and analysis support to the Commander, Submarine Force, Pacific (CSP) Special Programs Directorate at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.

Have the experience and knowledge of submarine special operations to support the Director of Special Programs (N3SP/N4SP) in planning for future equipment installations on deployed submarines.
You will assist the Director of Special Programs by analyzing scheduling and monitoring carry-on equipment (COE) installations on Pacific Fleet submarines. Additionally, this position will assist N3SP/N4SP in developing new sensors to include fully /semi-autonomous vehicles (both airborne and submerged) technologies for future Submarine deployments and other new emerging technologies.
Essential Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive system integration, operational planning, assessment, and staff support in the development and execution for TYCOM operations and in support of USINDOPACOM priorities.
Develop new concepts for operational employment of current submarine COE as well as innovative new COW.
Prepare reports, messages, memoranda, studies, and briefs related to sensor development, asset management and certification status.
Provide expert advice on the design, development, evaluation, installation, and testing of unique equipment and projects related to special intelligence programs and ocean engineering projects.
Integrate new fully and semi-autonomous vehicles into submarine deployment preparations. This involves working with the national labs and industry for not only the vehicles but also the means of communication and integration with the submarine
Assist the Director for Special Programs in the preparation and the conduct of briefings related to the installation, capability and certification of special electronic equipment to commanding officers of attack class submarines, COMSUBPAC staff, subordinate commands, users and collection agencies, and other specialists in the submarine community and supporting agencies.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
Previously served as Submarine Commanding Officer or Executive Officer.
At least 4 years of experience managing submarine COE equipment as a submarine department head or above.
At least 2 years of experience on a Task Force, TYCOM, Fleet or higher-level staff.
Experience developing and presenting briefings to senior leaders.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient at Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must have an active Top-Secret clearance and be SCI eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree.
Submarine deployment experience in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations.
Experience interacting with other national labs and industry partners.
The salary range for this position is $160K to $190K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
