**\$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS WITH A 2 YEAR COMMITMENT**

The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy to our residents with physician referral in an inpatient and outpatient setting in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• Must be a Certified Occupation Therapist
• Must be a graduate of an accredited program of occupation therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
• Must have a current and active license through the state of Arizona, and be in good standing
• Must have CPR certification upon hire and remain current during employment
• One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred, but not required

Specific Job Requirements and Skills

• Good communication skills with patients, families, support departments to adequately plan for patient needs
• Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
• Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the department
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients
• Establish, assess and modify realistic, measurable, timely, and functional goals
• Oversee and evaluate care given by COTAs and students
• Able to chart appropriately and timely
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately
• Must possess excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Must be able to assist in an emergency situation
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Must be able to use reasoning and good judgement
• Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language

Pay: \$40.00 - \$50.00 per hour
