Job Title: Construction Laborer (Material Handler with Pipe Experience)
Job Description
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable construction worker to join our team. You will participate in a variety of construction projects and follow construction plans and instructions from the site supervisor. Although experience isn't essential, you will have to be fit and a fast learner. To be successful in this position, you will work well as part of a team, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks.
Responsibilities
Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
Removing debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from sites.
Assembling and breaking down barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding.
Assisting contractors, e.g., electricians and painters, as required.
Assisting with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment.
Following all health and safety regulations.
Digging holes, tunnels, and trenches.
Essential Skills
Experience with necessary tools and equipment.
Good mathematical skills.
Physical strength and ability to do physical labor.
Ability to carry over 50lbs.
Must be able to identify different types of pipe (PVC, ABS, Carbon, etc)
Must know different types of Pipe thickness and diameters
Pipe fittings and flanges
Additional Skills & Qualifications
General labor experience.
Experience in construction, carpentry, plumbing, and pipefitting.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Ability to use measuring tools.

Work Environment
Construction worksite with loud noises and a large construction crew. Safety barriers are in place to ensure a secure working environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
