Turn on your Island Charm... Latitude Margaritaville WaterSound is currently looking for a Maintenance/Pressure Washer to join our team!

Purpose:

The Latitude Maintenance/Pressure Washer performs duties to ensure that all mechanical systems and equipment are operational and properly maintained and that all common areas are maintained in a clean condition, working within the limits of prescribed routines. Inspects work performed in assigned building/property(s) and submits reports to the Supervisor. The position will be mainly outdoors to maintain the exterior of the buildings.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Power washing the grounds and buildings within Town Square including the Bar & Chill, Mango Theatre, Workin’ ‘n’ Playin’ Center, Fins Up Fitness, and any other entities assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
• Cleaning and maintaining grounds on a daily basis
• Responsible for assisting the on-site Maintenance Supervisor with all daily responsibilities
• Must be aware and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Perform casual labor, such as lifting/moving heavy items as directed by supervisors and following appropriate safety procedures.
• Inspect all assigned areas daily and report all maintenance discrepancies or deficiencies to Supervisor.
• Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
• Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.
• Build strong, effective teams through ongoing supervision, training, coaching, counseling and leadership

• Ensure compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.

Technical competencies:

Education/Training:

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.

Experience/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Previous custodial/pressure washing experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Special Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
• Must adhere to all safety PPE
• Crawl in small and tight spaces
• Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain)
• Walk and climb stairs
• Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
• Reach with hands and arms
• Ability quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
• Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers
• Complete all required forms.
• Ability to respond to emergencies on a timely manner.
• Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3 ft).

Compensation/Work Schedule:

• $18 / hour
• Full-Time (30+ hours weekly)
• Evening & weekend availability required
