Compensation and Benefits: The salary range is $90-$110k. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.
In this role, you will:
- Key interface with external service providers on monthly accounting activities for international subsidiaries
- Review financials and statutory reporting of the international subsidiariesEnsure timely completion of accounting activities per close schedule
- Assist in preparation of tax schedules, if applicable
- Monitor transfer pricing and perform cost plus calculations per intercompany agreements
- Accounting for internal use software from capitalization, amortization and impairment testing per US GAAP
- Review and consolidate financial data in the ERP system
- Assist in ad-hoc projects when needed
Essential Requirements:
- 6+ years accounting experience with min of 3 years in a multi-country/currency environment
- Ability to work independently and manage different projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment that demands creativity and flexibility
- Working knowledge in internal use software capitalization (per ASC350-40), knowledge and experience in foreign currency matters (ASC 830), and consolidation
- Demonstrated analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Business or related field of study
