Description
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Palo Alto, California, United States. The role involves collecting, updating, and protecting information within our company database. The position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
This is position is a part-time contract role onsite in Palo Alto, CA.
Responsibilities:
• Enter data accurately and efficiently into our digital system.
• Maintain an organized filing system for documents.
• Review data entries for accuracy and reliability.
• Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Use office software for various tasks, particularly spreadsheet and word processing programs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Keep detailed messages and email correspondence.
• Perform calculations related to data entry tasks.
• Use 10 Key Skills for efficient data entry.
• Scan documents as part of data entry and record-keeping processes.
Requirements
* Recent graduates encouraged to Apply*
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Must possess 10 Key Skills for efficient data entry
• Excellent customer service skills for interaction with clients and colleagues
• Experience in data entry, specifically numeric data entry
• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently
• Skills in organizing files and maintaining an organized workspace
• Ability to perform calculations with accuracy and speed
• Experience with scanning documents and other materials for digital storage
• Fast and accurate typing skills for efficient data entry
• Ability to take and interpret detailed messages for effective communication.
