Description
Responsibilities – Day-To-Day Operations
Journal Entries: Booking journal entries accurately and efficiently.
Bank Reconciliations: Managing 4-5 bank accounts; an Apex-heavy role.
Month-End Close: Handling prepaids, debt entries, accruals for missing invoices, and adjusting entries.
Expense Reimbursements: Managing reimbursements for the subsidiary as well as corporate cards.
Accounts Payable (AP) Processes:
Reconciling AP to the GL.
Reviewing GL coding of invoices processed by the offshore team using Depalty.
Handling W-9 payment-related questions.
Owning the overall AP process (actual work is primarily completed offshore).
Financial Entry Management: Booking numerous entries into the financial statements.
Fixed Assets & Depreciation: Managing fixed assets accounting and related depreciation schedules.
Allocation Tasks: Assisting with allocation-related functions.
Flex & Sales Analysis: Conducting various financial analyses as required.
Requirements
Technical Expertise & Systems
Systems:
Expensify, Depalty, NetSuite, and Excel (proficiency in pivot tables and VLOOKUPs).
Top 3 Technical Requirements:
Strong reconciliation experience and account analysis.
GAAP analysis and handling accruals.
Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy.
Ideal Experience: 3–5 years of mid-level accounting experience.

Collaborative Team Player: Easy to work with and able to communicate effectively with team members.
Adaptability: Flexible and comfortable handling shifting priorities.
