Job Description:

Johnson and Johnson is recruiting for a Staff Process Engineer in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This is a fixed-term role with a scheduled end date of December 31st, 2026.

The successful candidate will be an experienced individual contributor in a scientific/technology field. Defines industry proven principles and practices to generate comprehensive supply chain engineering project plans, as well as associated key performance metrics, goals, and objectives. Works collaboratively with management to drive decisions regarding process engineering schematics and methods, to produce comprehensive engineering structure, operational efficiencies, and final deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists in the management of process engineering supply chain project plans, key milestones and objectives, to ensure engineering outputs meet customer’s operational needs and requirements.

• Approve documentation routing on CR/CN for incoming processes

• Ensure validations are completed and delivered on time per transformation Wave

• Manage bucket-list items that weren’t addressed as a part of the initial pass

• Implement process improvements that don’t impeded the direction or timeline of the project

• Help coordinate the transfer of waves 2-5 tooling and gages, and ensure space is adequate

• Ensure all documentation is in place, complete, and released prior to any product being released

• Ensure manufacturing materials are ordered, received, and all documentation is completed (EHSS, FS165)

• Complete temperature mapping study for the new areas (test rooms).

• Complete and release protocols and reports

• Support Space, lay-out and flow for end-state on assembly, inventory and NS-Pack

• Support project Drake and must have basic CNC manufacturing knowledge experience

• Support decommissioning activities for Phoenix (equipment, document…)

• Merge/harmonize procedures for assembly, receive, stock-room and NS-Pack

• Merge/harmonize procedures for PMI-Tools-Gauge; redefine

• Define the process for the Teligen tower and the S&R refurb from Mooresville.

• Good communication and the ability to drive deliverables to completion.

• Optimize component inventory for the warehouse, stockroom, and S&R

• Assist in the establishment of engineering reports to escalate to management, along with status updates relative to success in meeting critical goals and objectives.

• Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

• Senior Engineer, Process Engineering (ST6)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering is required.

• Previous experience working in a regulated industry, such as Medical Device is preferred.

• Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification or 4 years of experience preferred.

• Demonstrates leadership qualities including confidence, transparency, integrity, innovation, passion, patience and tenacity.

• Demonstrates strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

• Demonstrates strong computer skills, such as the use of Microsoft Office, Minitab, and databases.

• Demonstrates strong organizational and project management skills and are results oriented.

• Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills and professional interactions with coworkers.

• Demonstrates troubleshooting skills.

This role is severance eligible.
