Kelly Services Quality Technician in Painesville, Ohio
Kelly, in partnership with a premier manufacturing employer in Painesville, OH, is looking for a Quality Technician! Our client offers bonuses and growth opportunities to skyrocket your career!
Our opening is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefits after their 90 day probationary period.

1st shift opening! 7 or 8 am start time
Pay: $26 - $27 per hour
Job Description:
Perform inspection/testing (e.g. First Articles, customer returns, incoming inspection, supplier issues) using gages including; micrometers, calipers, protractors and various other gages/fixtures
Read and interpret drawings
Assist with Document Control efforts (e.g., documentation updates)
Support the Control of Nonconforming Product process by ensuring appropriate segregation, identification and disposition of such product and entering information into the Nonconformance Log.
Assist with problem identification, investigation and resolution
Assist with complaints (e.g., supplier, customer and internal) including entering information into complaint system database
Advise, train and support operators with the quality processes
Perform product audit production/inspection
Perform out-going dock audits of finished goods
Assist incoming inspection for raw material and outside processing product
Maintain records per Business Management System requirements
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in Quality Control
High school education or GED required
ASQ certification preferred, but not required.
