*[Job Scope]{.underline}: *A competent professional who oversees many aspects of vocational programing. Assists with providing leadership and effective guidance to the vocational services team, including administrative, organizational, vocational services responsibilities, training and ensuring that vocational services staff present a welcoming face to the organization and provide excellent customer service to patients, customers and visitors. Serves as a contact point for vocational services team. May supervise Vocational Specialists, Job Coaches, and/or Job Developers and manages work experiences.

Assists with creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture and is a champion for excellent customer care.

Provides personnel supervisory functions for assigned staff including annual evaluations, involvement in hiring, disciplinary actions, etc. Any disciplinary action involving time off without pay or termination requires prior consultation with leadership and Director, Human Resources.

Ensures the needs of the client are met with regard to appropriate visit scheduling and payer source eligibility and verification.

Trains staff, manages, coordinates, evaluates, and supervises all operations within assigned staff.

Works with the Vocational Manager in instances where formal discipline of staff is required to administer such discipline per company policy and procedures.

Identifies any issues that impact vocational service resources, proposing solutions and reporting to the Vocational Manager. Offers suggestions on how the quality of service can be improved.

Assists with the management of OOD authorization and referrals

Responsible for identifying and rewarding instances in which staff exhibit exemplary execution of their duties and customer service.

Ensures adequate coverage by vocational staff at appropriate stations.

Provides oversight of daily office functions to insure services are conducted in compliance with company policy and procedures.

Provides feedback to the Vocational Manager regarding how to improve the efficiency and efficacy of the vocational services team.

Ensures customers receive excellent service from the vocational staff in the manner prescribed by customer service standards and takes appropriate action as necessary. Upon observation or report of instances in which non vocational staff fail to follow customer service standards, reports such instances to the Vocational Manager or other appropriate management staff.

Acts as a liaison between assigned staff and staff from other areas when conflict arises and refers as appropriate to the Vocational Manager or other management staff.
