Description

Position Summary:

Person in this position will be responsible for coordinating the day to day facility operations, cultural climate and ensuring that all regulatory and compliance monitoring are met with regard to health and safety.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Direct supervision and observation of site-specific programs and staff

  • Responsible for all aspects of quality treatment for all clients

  • Meet in treatment and management teams, with all staff, and with community stakeholders/partners on a frequent regular basis

  • Responsible for site-specific program design, implementation, and service delivery.

  • Responsible for site-specific operations and follow-up quality measures, including budgeting and fiduciary balancing and accountability.

  • Maintain standards and compliance with program, accreditation, grant, and/or contract standards

  • Responsibility to search for and procure additional funding opportunities

  • Responsible for site-specific hiring, progressive discipline/termination, evaluation and support (including training and development) of all site-specific employees

  • As a member of the WestCare Nevada management team, actively engage in collaboration, cross-facility/program training and support, and act as a Nevada-wide community liaison and advocate

  • Monitor work flow and site service utilization and maintain records as needed for reporting

  • Write and submit required reports and/or provide appropriate data for administrative and marketing needs

  • Responsible for staff and client safety and facility compliance with health, fire and other regulatory standards

  • Attend regular professional education classes/workshops to continuously upgrade job skills or promote the image of the agency

  • Be on 24-hour call for and respond to facility emergencies

  • Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation

  • Other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Valid drivers’ license and proof of insurance

  • Ability to pass first level and NABS background clearance

  • As mandated by Presidential Order all employees of WestCare Foundation, Inc. and all affiliates of WestCare Foundation, Inc. will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective 11/1/2021. Employees that have requested a Medical or Religious Exemption, which has been approved by Human Resources will be required to test for the virus weekly

    During your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with Master’s preferred from an accredited college or university in social work, or related field with 5 years of qualifying experience

    Experience and Competencies:

  • 3 years or more recent management experience in a social services organization to fully appreciate program requirements and the populations served
