Medical Insurance Paid Time Off Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Basic Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Employer Paid Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Adoption Assistance Plan Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program Licensed by the ARRT and in good standing with CEs Completed a digital mammography class Completed a tomosynthesis class Registered in Mammography or willing to become registered in Mammography BLS certification Displays a good understanding of breast anatomy and imaging Job Responsibilities: Identifies each patient by name and date of birth. Reviews each patient's requisition. Reviews patient's history with patient. Communicates with radiologist any pertinent change in patient history that may change order. Assesses patient condition to ensure patient's safety during exam. Reviews each exam for technical accuracy. Identifies anatomical orientation and proper image identification on all images. Uses computer system in documenting correctly and accurately patient information to ensure the quality of patient care. Explains procedure to the patient to facilitate cooperation and relieve anxiety. Monitors supplies and notifies appropriate person when stock is low. Always demonstrates awareness of radiation safety procedures for self and others. Other duties as assigned.
