Full job description
Orrville Trucking & Grading is hiring Full Time CDL A or B Local Ready-Mix Drivers who live within 20 miles of Wooster / Orrville, OH. Drivers will haul concrete around the Wooster/Orrville, OH area. Drivers will have the opportunity to learn both Class A and Class B commercial trucks, including, but not limited to, mixers (primary), dump trucks, and semi-trucks. Additional opportunities to learn to operate other commercial vehicles are available.
At Orrville Trucking & Grading, safety is our priority. 50% of our fleet (and growing!) doesn't have ladders which makes it much safer and less taxing for our drivers. We have invested heavily in technology to make our drivers jobs efficient, such as central mix batch plants, no hoppers on trucks, a truck wash to automatically wash down your truck, and a Drum Blaster to ease end of day wash up.
Compensation:
- Drivers will start around $20-$22 per hour with bi-annual wage increases based on performance
- Average hours weekly: 40-55 (+)
- Overtime pay after 40 hours at time-and-a-half
- 2-3 raises/reviews per year: Average raise increase during 2023 was a minimum of $1.25
- Quarterly performance bonuses in Q2, Q3 & Q4: Quarterly bonuses average an additional dollar per hour each quarter
- Paid via direct deposit weekly

Monday through Friday schedule
1 Saturday is required per month in the busy season (April-October)
Drivers who are looking to pick-up additional hours can opt to work multiple Saturdays each month
Shifts start between 6:30am and 7:30am
