The Walt Disney World Resort invites you to be our Guest and explore maintenance role opportunities at our upcoming Job Fair on Thursday, August 1st, 2024, from 8 :30 AM - 12:30 PM. Come talk with our recruitment team and learn more about our FOS Maintenance Teams who provide excellent service and support to all of Walt Disney World! This event is open to the public and will focus on finding talent for maintenance roles. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to apply and interview on site. Some candidates may even be hired on-the-spot!

- Full Time Area HVAC Refrigeration Technicians
Full Time requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays

HVAC Refrigeration Technician
The Area Mechanic – HVAC Refrigeration Tech is more than just a modern-day Iceman of cooling off a building. They troubleshoot, perform maintenance and/or operational procedures in all phases of plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, refrigeration work including air cooled and water-cooled chillers. Among many tasks, the Area Mechanic – HVAC Refrigeration Tech must be able to repair or replace valves, bearings, belts and sheave replacement, blower and shaft replacement, insulation and damper repairs, motor repair or replacement, pump rebuilding and maintenance of boilers and air compressors. They should have a Universal EPA Certification.
Basic Qualifications :
4 years of relative in-field professional experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid FL Driver's license
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
Ability to work from elevated platforms and confined spaces
