AdventHealth AHMG Psychiatry at Lake Mary Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Outpatient in Orlando, Florida
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LCSW or LMHC to join our growing behavioral health program. This provider will provide therapeutic interventions, counseling, and support to clients with diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges.
The LMHC or LCSW, is responsible for:
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups using evidence-based therapeutic modalities
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (primary care, psychiatrist, other team members) to ensure coordinated care and treatment continuity
Advocate for clients’ rights and access to resources, facilitating referrals to community sources and support services as needed
Documenting in a timely and thorough manner
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with care team
Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional integrity
Strong communication skills
Strong medical decision-making skills
Displaying a caring and professional attitude at all times
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
Schedule Details Full-Time: Monday – Friday
Hospitals covered: AH Lake Mary
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC)
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION:
Current, valid Florida LCSW or LMHC license
BLS
DEA License
