Hiring a Full Time / Direct Hire Field Service Technician for a leading packaging + recycling company in Orchard Park, NY. Will support customers across 35 states and provide technical services. Able to manage business relationships, provide exceptional technical support, and troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.

Title: Field Service Technician

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire / Full Time


Pay Rate: $25 - 40/HR (DOE)

Schedule: Monday - Friday and NO weekend travel

Work Site: Orchard Park, NY and US-based customer sites

Job Duties "At-a-Glance":

  • Travel approximately 75% to customer locations for technical services.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Train and support clients to build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct system integrations, diagnostics, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage Service Calls for audits, maintenance, and troubleshooting needs.
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • HS School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, and technical troubleshooting experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able and willing to travel extensively to client sites as required

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a technical field
  • PLC experience ie: Allen Bradley
  • Able to read blueprints, machine drawings, and electrical schematics
