VP, Implementations and Conversions

What does a successful VP, Implementations and Conversions do at Fiserv?

As the VP, Implementations and Conversions, you will play a critical role as the leader of the Conversions and Implementations organization for our Issuer Solutions business. This position is responsible for leading projects from beginning to end, participating in Discovery, Data Spec Review, Software Development, System Configuration, Testing, Project Management & Implementation.

What you will do:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a large team (100+ Employees and Contingent Workers). This includes, leading, mentoring and managing ongoing performance of the team while driving the desired culture and org structure to meet current/future client and business needs

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for client conversions and implementations with a strong focus on delivering exceptional client-facing support

  • Lead a team of project managers and specialists in planning, executing, and monitoring the conversion and implementation projects, while also ensuring seamless client communication and support throughout the process

  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements, ensuring that client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded

  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential barriers or challenges during the conversion and implementation process, with a specific focus on minimizing client impact and maintaining satisfaction

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to establish and align strategic goals and objectives for conversion and implementation projects, while also considering the impact on client relationships and satisfaction

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize systems, processes, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and effectively address client needs and requirements

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to conversion and implementations, particularly focusing on solutions and techniques that enhance client-facing support and satisfaction

What you will need to have:

  • 10+ years of experience successfully leading complex conversion and implementation projects in a senior-level role, with a strong emphasis on client-facing support and satisfaction

  • 10+ years of project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting project objectives

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience

What would be great to have:

  • 10-15 years minimum in Project Management, Payment Industry, and/or Fiserv platform experience

  • Experience with and knowledge of FD platforms (FD Optis) and products/services

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York or Washington.
