PACCAR WINCH Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of PACCAR. PACCAR Winch Inc manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists, and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility, and specialty markets. We have locations in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Our business is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech. This position is an on-site office position located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. #LI-TJ1

Signing bonus: $1,000.00 bonus is included with this position.

Schedule:

  • Day Shift, Monday-Friday, Weekends as needed, Hours: 7:00AM-3:30PM

    Pay range:

  • $21.58- $31.15 per hour, Additional $1.60 an hour for skilled position pay.

  • Wage is based upon experience and education.

    Objective :

  • The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals.

    Essential Functions / Responsibilities :

  • Perform a wide variety of complex mechanical duties to troubleshoot, repair, and install components associated with the facility and equipment.

  • Work from complicated diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

  • Knowledge and demonstrated skill troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, drive trains, machining equipment, pumps, motors, and compressors on all production and plant support machines and equipment. Able to tear down, assemble, repair and calibrate using proper tools, measuring devices and equipment of the trade.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Operate basic machine tools and equipment including mills and lathes.

  • Assist in specification, selection and ordering of components and equipment.

  • Basic computer knowledge and skills are required. Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.

  • Plumbing skills, including pipe threading, tubing and fittings.

  • Mechanical fabrication including cutting, welding and a good understand of metallurgy.

  • Previous experience in a machining operation is desired.

  • Understanding of the proper and safe use of forklifts and man lifts, including inspection and repair

    Qualifications:

  • Graduation from high school supplemented by appropriate technical training and/ or an Associate’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology.

  • Preferred five (5) years of recent related experience in the position described.

  • Must be able to meet certain physical requirements with accommodations.

  • Will require additional training and courses to gain proficiency in electrical work, AC and DC circuit knowledge, soldering, experience in three and two phase 480v and 240v systems and 120v single phase systems. Candidate must be willing to complete these requirements and courses as scheduled during their employment.

    Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures.

  • Knowledge of structure of grounds to be maintained.

  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment.

  • Ability to trouble shoot and diagnose.

  • Ability to follow a maintenance schedule.

  • Manual dexterity.

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    PACCAR Winch is a manufacturer of industrial winches. Employee is working around heavy machinery. Employees must be able to operate safely in a busy industrial environment. Additional physical requirements include standing, walking, bending 90% of the time. Ability to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hands above head.

  • Must be able to lift up to 68 pounds occasionally

  • Able to push a maximum of 75 pounds

  • Ability to pull a maximum force of up to 75 pounds

  • Able to step up and down on a 14 inch step with both feet multiple times

  • Able to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hand above head.

  • Ability to crawl for 25 feet
