WEBER HUMAN SERVICES Food Service Worker 2 - Warehouse in OGDEN, Utah

The Aging Services Department of Weber Human Services (WHS) is located in Ogden, Utah. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan County governments to serve as a local authority for provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior (Aging) services.

We provide opportunities and support for the senior citizens of Weber and Morgan Counties to increase their quality of life and extend their independence. Our programs are delivered with sensitivity to the frail elderly and those who have the greatest social and economic needs.

In this job you will: Inventory weekly for ordering of food and supplies. Receive deliveries and put food and supplies items in proper storage locations. Date and rotate all stock to insure the first in first out policy is followed. Load steam table and restock as needed during tray line. Keep warehouse, freezers, refrigerators and storage area clean and organized. Daily cleaning of floors and take out garbage. Maintain temperature logs of freezers and refrigerators. Pantry orders for centers collect items and put order together and get to driver for delivery Pulling items in timely manner for proper thawing. May drive MOW routes when needed. May help in kitchen when needed when short staffed.

Food handlers permit from local health department. Valid Utah driver's license. Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely Record keeping. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently with minimal supervision. Ability to special diets and meal color coding.
