Description We are offering a contract for a permanent employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Odessa, Texas. This role is within the oilfield services industry where you will report directly to the company owner and manage all bookkeeping tasks.
Responsibilities
• Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations
• Handle invoicing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate billing
• Manage reconciliation and balance books to maintain accurate financial records
• Administer payroll for a small team, ensuring correct and punctual payment
• Maintain the company's health insurance plan, ensuring all details are up-to-date and accurate
• Utilize software like QuickBooks Desktop for various accounting functions
• Leverage Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook, to streamline accounting tasks and communications. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
• Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations
• Experience with Billing Functions
