We are actively seeking an intrepid Accounts Payable Specialist to augment our thriving team within the Manufacturing industry in scenic Oceanside, CA. In this role, you will not only be interpreting data and aligning payments, but you'll also be instrumental in wrenching the cogwheels of our organization into seamless efficiency. Responsibilities:
Process accounts and incoming payments in adherence to established financial policies and procedures.
Execute timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Manage vendor queries and reconcile vendor statements.
Perform month-end supplier reconciliations and assist in month-end closing.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Collaborate with the team to improve and automate AP processes.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role.
Thorough understanding of basic booking principles and procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
High degree of accuracy and ability to handle confidential information.
