Position Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and optimizing all manufacturing equipment and the overall manufacturing environment for Antylia Scientific’s location in Ocala, FL. This role involves assessing existing processes, interpreting data, and initiating improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality. The Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with leadership to implement new concepts and training initiatives, providing technical support for customer-facing and quality teams to address inquiries and investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, maintaining consistent product quality.

  • Utilize project management skills to establish timelines, action item lists, assign responsibilities, track completion status, achieve milestones, and determine ROI.

  • Develop and test components and assemblies for manufacturing products.

  • Assist in the development and modification of equipment concepts.

  • Collaborate with the Quality team to produce, update, and implement all project-related documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, process guides, validations, BOMs, troubleshooting guides, and other necessary documentation.

  • Investigate CAPAs, NCMRs, and customer complaints.

  • Oversee the implementation of installation qualifications/validations and support production/manufacturing post-implementation.

  • Perform diagnostic testing on all equipment.

  • Design and program PLC control systems for automated equipment.

  • Provide engineering support for vendor interactions and audits.

  • Train manufacturing and associated personnel on new procedures and documentation.

  • Lead process improvement and waste elimination initiatives through lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

  • Supervise a team of maintenance technicians supporting production areas and machinery

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience working as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and small product assembly automation using pneumatics, robotics, or mechanical movements.

  • Experience with sensors, vision systems, and motion controls. Thrives, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization

  • Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization
