Reference #: SEI1GLOBALR0029431EXTERNALENGLOBAL SEI is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Revenue Accounting team within the Corporate Accounting group. The Senior Accountant will be involved in the monthly close process across various SEI business units. They will also be working with various accounting and billing systems on a monthly basis. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for monthly general ledger reconciliations and completing monthly internal controls related to their process.

The Revenue Accounting team within the Corporate Accounting group is responsible for the following:

Revenue recognition and reporting across all business segments

Maintenance of all revenue and billing systems

Client billing and Accounts receivable management

Internal control compliance for all revenue processes

What you will do:

Key person responsible for the overall monthly close process for one or more business segments

Handle the monthly and quarterly invoicing process for one or more business segments

Handle complex invoicing issues

Review contracts

Work with monthly internal controls and keep documentation up-to-date

Record monthly journal entries and provide revenue analysis

Handle reconciliations of related revenue and balance sheet accounts at month end

Work with auditors throughout the year on various requests

Special projects as needed

Become a system expert in various billing and accounting systems

Work on process improvements

What we need from you: The successful candidate should possess the following:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills

Strong technical skills and experience working with various accounting and/or billing systems

Ability to think and work independently as well as in a team environment

Ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow-through with goals and objectives

Ability to develop and manage successful internal and external relationships

5 to 10 years of experience
