Hortech Inc Maintenance Technician in Nunica, Michigan
Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping our facilities, equipment and grounds operating efficiently. A Senior Maintenance Technician is required to perform a wide range of preventative maintenance activities, diagnostics and repairs. They are also required to carry out all MIOSHA and OSHA rules as well. He/She, as the Senior Maintenance Technician, is service minded and values working collaboratively as a team, typically on-site, with a traditional Monday- Friday work week so as to be available to, responsive and supportive of colleagues and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees and assists with the maintenance of all of our equipment, facilities and properties through preventative maintenance and immediate repairs.
- Works proactively using efficient, effective, innovative most up-to-date methods to keep equipment and facility ready for the changes of seasons.
- On call for emergencies outside of normal business hours and occasionally is required to travel off-site.
- Operates the tractor and forklift and learns their implements.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Valid Driver's License required, and eligible for company motor vehicle insurance.
- Strong math skills a must.
- Mechanically inclined in a commercial business setting.
- Basic electrical knowledge required.
- Able to oversee and execute multiple long-term and short-term tasks and projects.
