Job Description

The R&D Procurement Training Associate supports R&D Procurement organization in the creation, design and delivery of training solutions. Manages the Learning Management System for adherence to role based training assignments and manages adherence to training timelines. This role is accountable to R&D Procurement Compliance and Inspection Management to ensure it effectively represents compliance in all training programs. Must be able to use critical thinking skills to work independently under minimal direction from Management to evaluate, manage, and prioritize training activity and escalates issues to management with potential solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.

  • Assist in the coordination of activities of a cross-functional team to ensure development of necessary training solutions are completed on time and within budget (if applicable)

  • Lead project activities such as LMS planning and implementation, metrics development and interpretation, compliance assessment and system updates.

  • May represent training on continuous improvement projects or cross-functional initiatives.

  • Improves, maintains and monitors Training SharePoint site.

  • Identify issues that potentially impact compliance to training expectations and identify potential interventions or solutions to manage the issues.

  • Develop course descriptions, learning models and training programs utilizing information from Subject Matter Experts to deliver training in an effective manner while overseeing workflow management for design and development projects.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training curriculum by creating and implementing measures to track outcomes and ensure alignment to business objectives.

  • Demonstrates versatility and flexibility so that obstacles are overcome and expected results are produced

  • Effectively communicates training gaps, metrics and project progress. Establish networks and relationships within and across functions to define training needs and current training progress within the organization.

  • Onboarding assistance within R&D Procurement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or ex-US equivalent degree) typically in nursing/ scientific field or training and development with 4+ years of Pharma-related/clinical research or related experience is desired (minimum 10+ years significant relative experience without a degree).

  • Experience using platforms such as Scribe, Articulate, Canva.

  • Must have demonstrated a high level of core and technical competencies.

  • Possesses good communication skills.

  • Competent in application of standard business procedures (SOPs, ICH, Global Regulations, Ethics and Compliance).

  • Preferred exposure to clinical research from study initiation through study completion

  • This is the third level position (of 3 levels) within a job family which supports training and will have minimal oversight and guidance

  • This position will report into a Manager and will have no direct reports.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.   • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​​​​

Salary: $80,500 - $153,000
