responsibilities:

  • Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely coding of reported medical data.

  • Supports the completion of dictionary upversioning workflow activities.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert to provide quality surveillance support of Safety/ICSR coding and reporting processes.

  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills including appropriate issue escalation to management.

  • Collaborates with the coding management team to identify a solution for issues and maintains follow-through to resolution.

qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with related health science background (e.g., RN, BSN, RPh).

  • 4 - 6 years of ICSR coding experience.

  • 1 - 3 years people management experience preferred, but not required.

  • Working knowledge of MedDRA and WHODrug is required.

  • Computer proficiency (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders for effective outcomes.
