Job Description
Purpose:
As part of the Global Coding Team (GCT), ensures the management of the MedDRA and WHODrug governance model of the Safety/ICSR Coding Team.
Responsibilities:
Management of Safety/ICSR Coding Team, both internal and outsourced.
Management of departmental and/or organizational process improvement projects.
Management of departmental budgets and projects future financial and resource needs.
Management of Clinical Coding or Safety/ICSR coding workflow and training.
Accountable for Safety ICSR MedDRA and WHODrug governance, including upversioning, Standardized
Queries, Coding Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.Accountable for the mitigation and resolution of Coding Management Committee inquiries and/or
actions.
This role can be remote in the US.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with related health science background, BSN, BS, BS Pharm, PharmD or advanced degree.
5-7 years related experience; 2 years should be in management of Clinical Coding or Safety/ICSR team.
MedDRA and WHODrug coding experience required.
Demonstrated working knowledge of MedDRA and WHODrug is required.
Demonstrated working knowledge of medical and medication terminology is required.
Demonstrated experience in a people leader capacity is required.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Salary: $133,500 - $253,500
