Sr. Managers, Process Engineering with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Normal, IL. Responsible for leading the team that manages all engineering changes and implements the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) from the Supply Chain Engineering team as well as leading Continuous Improvement efforts. Direct the work of the engineers that lead PFEP implementations and maintain Material Flow systems configuration including the part location and control cycle data in SAP. Receive engineering and overall product change information from NPI and Launch teams, develop an implementation plan, and coordinate with Production and Material Handling teams when completing the changes to ensure no disruptions to the production schedule. Responsible for the repairs and maintenance of material flow equipment including carts, dollies, and racks. Work as the department liaison for all engineering work coordinating directly with Supply Chain Engineering, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Process Engineering as needed to ensure that Material Flow supports any improvements or issue resolution needed. Serves as the primary lead for any Concern items raised for the department. Lead continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency of material handling processes and drive cost reductions. Maintain all part and location signage in both the plant and all internally operated warehouse locations. Develop, implement, and maintain the department 5T and all visual management standards. Provides analytic to support the smooth execution of material flow processes. Monitor and modify any Min-Max levels for replenishment and optimizes for lean flow. Responsible for project management function for the department as needed for major events such as new product launches and planned shutdown activities. Supervise team of\ engineers.\ \ RQMTS: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in any occupation involving manufacturing execution systems. Experience must include working with Design software AutoCAD; Materials Requirement Planning Software SAP; Reading and interpreting documents, governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; and applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
