In this role as the Vice President, Service & Implementation for Major Accounts Services, you will direct all activities of the Core Market within Major Account Services to meet profitability and growth objectives established for the business.

The Major Accounts Services Vice President has end to end client ownership in the Core Market and sets the strategy and collaborates with a broad array of field and functional stakeholders to meet all Service objectives helping drive Revenue, New Business Starts, Client Retention, Client NPS. Responsible for all activities relating to the accomplishment of market financial plans and objectives, operating plan initiatives, client experience, associate engagement, associate retention, and talent development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a strategy that supports ADP's vision to be the premier provider of HCM solutions to the Core Market. Drives growth and solutions, via highly engaged associates, and personalized / strong client relationships

  • Collaborates effectively with key functional and field organizations, Sales, Global Product and Technology, HR, Finance and Shares Services

  • Continually analyzing operating results of its functional groups -- Service, Implementation, and Client Success to identify new areas of opportunity for growth, improved client satisfaction and operating productivity

  • Develops and articulates the strategic objectives in a clear and compelling manner to all leaders and associates. Keeps the organization's vision and strategic plan at the forefront of decision making

  • Develops and communicates clearly defined service goals, objectives, and results to the organization

  • Develops leaders within the organization by providing developmental assignments, coaching, timely feedback, and guidance

  • Rewards results and behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of ADP. Develops successors

  • Drives the ADP Employment Value Proposition throughout organization and develops a highly engaged workforce

  • Maintains key client and partner relationships. Develops a deep understanding of the perspective of the client, and our associates and takes actions to integrate their needs with the products and strategic direction of ADP. Balances client expectations with associate engagement and performance

  • Supports ADP and Major Account Services in its Business Transformation initiatives

  • Serves as a key member of the Leadership team and partners with other ADP leadership teams as needed

  • Assumes other special projects/assignments as directed by the SVP

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Preferred Qualifications

  • This position will sit in our Norfolk, VA location. We support a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home; not a fully remote opportunity

  • 15+ years' experience in a fast-paced service environment. Within the years of experience, must possess several years of successful and progressive managerial experience

  • While a college degree is great, we will consider some education coupled with extensive work experience in a Senior Level/Executive position

  • Experience or familiarity in the Human Capital Management space. Within the years of experience, must possess several years of successful and progressive managerial experience

  • Successful experience leading a high performing team in a high-volume client service organization

  • Strategic thinker with ability to assess current situation and future trends and bridge the gap

  • Must possess great leadership qualities with the focus on a team-based approach using collaboration and driving an engaging and inclusive culture

  • Must possess integrity, ambition, and be results-oriented

  • Must have broad functional background and experience including managing remotely in service and operations

  • Ability to manage effectively with clients and associates in a virtual environment:

  • Must have a demonstrated ability in the following areas:

  • Set and meet aggressive goals for operational effectiveness

  • Identify and develop talent across an organization

  • Work closely with sales to bring on and retain new business

  • Deal effectively with growth in sales and the existing client base

  • Must possess an "executive" presence and skills to build strong, working relationships from front-line people to senior executives

  • Must possess thorough knowledge and appreciation of quality and execution

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure with tight turnaround times

  • Excellent planning and organizing skills with ability to effectively direct/lead the market segments overall service and implementation functions to maximize revenues and profits

  • In-depth knowledge of financial and legal principles and practices

  • Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, leadership, and organization skills
