ManpowerGroup Quality Engineer in Newton, North Carolina

Our client, an Automotive Part Manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the Supplier Quality Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Newton, NC

Pay Range: $75,000-120,000 per year

What’s the Job?

  1. Lead problem-solving teams to analyze and resolve internal/external issues.

  2. Participate in scrap reduction and process improvement projects with other functions.

  3. Coordinate PPAPs for outsourcing of operations, supplier resourcing, internal machine moves, new machine installation, rework processes, etc.

  4. Evaluate Process Change Requests and implement changes through PPAP/PTR per client standards and customer requirements.

  5. Perform compliance and system effectiveness audits to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and customer-specific requirements.

What’s Needed?

  1. Strong understanding of process variation and preventive measures.

  2. Experience in Design Reviews, PFMEA, and Control Plan development.

  3. Familiarity with IATF Standards & other Customer Specific Requirements.

  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  5. Ability to train associates in quality tools such as statistics, inspection methods, problem-solving, and process analysis.
