We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator, Operations Technician! The Facilities Coordinator, Operations Technician at Ferguson will assist the facility operations by coordinating complex maintenance tasks, supervising vendor activities, and supporting strategic initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple responsibilities effectively, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities
Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs.
Perform interoffice moves and furniture reconfigurations to include troubleshooting and repair of modular systems furniture.
Perform meeting and event setups at the scheduled times.
Assist in facility improvement project to include resource allocation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated facility issues and emergencies.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide feedback through ServiceNow request platform. Schedule tasks to prevent and/or minimize disruptions to business operations and update status on all open tickets and the action taken to complete.
Supervise and coordinate activities of external vendors and contractors.
Perform quality assurance inspections for building cleanliness, risk avoidance, vendor performance etc.
Maintain accurate records of facility operations and prepare regular reports.
Assist in coordination of warranty repairs for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and projects.
May be required to work off hours or weekends with minimal notice.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities operations or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in facilities management software and reporting tools is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
