Your team This role is part of the SAP External Reporting organization which is a team with presence in Manila, Newcastle and San Jose.

What success looks like

  • Learn from the best SAP software developers and build mastery in SAP reporting solutions

  • Become a key part of the Scrum team to deliver solutions as part of the product backlog

  • Understand how applications are delivered in an Global ERP environment through development, testing and production systems

  • Continuously expand your technical skills in all areas of SAP through experimentation, on the job experience and in-house training

    Responsibilities

  • Develop in SAP (ABAP, CDS) as well as specific tax compliance products such as ACR

  • Work as part of the SCRUM Development team of 4 software developers

  • Follow the technical standards and documentation standards set by the Technical Leader & Architect

  • Provide technical support to solutions delivered in case of major issues (Basic technical support is provided by another team)

  • Communicate effectively with the Technical Leaders, Scrum Master and Product Owners

Job Qualifications

What we look for:

  • Experience with ERP SAP ABAP, CDS programming and S/4 HANA knowledge is a requirement of the job, please note advanced training will be provided.

  • Exposure to SQL or any other ETL language as well as exposure to any front-end data presentation tools (Power Bi, SAC etc.) these can be either as part of a degree or personal projects.

  • A Bachelor or Masters degree in IT / Computer Science or another STEM related field is desirable but not essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Software Development Experience

  • Good understanding of common relational database concepts: primary keys, relationships, joins as well as knowledge on system landscape.

  • OSS Note Analysis, General knowledge in Fiori, Central Finance (FI Module) is desired, but not required.
