Sr. Site Reliability Engineer IIJob Description:Ensure the availability, reliability, and resilience of the Carta app and other production systems in various environments. Ensure that Carta products stay live, work, and are updated quickly and effectively. Set up systems to expedite production time. Solve problems relating to the hosting of Carta distributed systems, containerization, IaC, and Carta’s overall developer operations . Collaborate closely with the Information Security Team to define secure network boundaries and implement security policies. Develop and maintain Terraform configs, Jenkins pipelines, Kubernetes manifest files as IaC and extend these configurations to support new services, features and multiple environments. Solve complex dependencies of critical services of various business units and build automation to prevent future problems. Develop automation scripts to streamline system upgrades and pipelines to improve deployment cyclesJob Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.2.Two (2) years of experience in building and scaling core infrastructure components, including Kubernetes on AWS public cloud service. 3.Additional experience must include: Cloud services using AWS and infrastructure expertise in EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, Elasticache, VPC, Lambda. Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including using Terraform for managing and provisioning cloud infrastructure at scale.Monitoring tools, including Datadog, Sentry, ELK and setting up and maintaining comprehensive monitoring solutions.Continuous integration and continuous deployment tools using Jenkins, GitHub, CircleCI, and designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines for all infrastructure needs.Software Development using Python, writing efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.Storage Services, including PostgreSQL and Redis, and performance tuning, replication, backup, and recovery.Queuing systems, including Redis or Apache Kafka and their associated infrastructure setup and best practices.4.Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.Employer: eShares, Inc. d/b/a Carta, Inc.
