Uber Product Marketing Manager II, Memberships in New York, New York

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic consumer product marketer for our Membership team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping define Uber's approach to membership and its global go-to-market strategy. You will lead the workstream on one of our key pillars (member benefits, mobility or delivery), and will serve as a key cross-functional stakeholder in defining and executing the product and marketing strategic roadmaps.

We are looking for someone who deeply understands the customer, is an analytical thinker and has a strong approach to marketing to both grow and retain members. This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of product, marketing, business development and customer experience. It will be important to have loyalty, consumer and/or marketplace experience.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide leadership and influence how product marketing and cross-functional teams deliver on membership, partnering closely with the product, business development, operations and global marketing teams to drive impact.

  • Global Mindset: Lead the creation of worldwide marketing campaigns, guiding the development of global creative as well as local strategies to deliver the best membership program and growth across all markets.

  • Research & Insights: Partner with cross-functional teams to drive a qualitative and quantitative research agenda that informs the product and marketing. Deliver insights and industry perspective that drives confidence and action on membership.

  • Positioning & Messaging: Triangulate customer, market and business insights to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with new and existing Uber One audiences,and drives the product roadmap and go-to-market.

  • Go-to-market strategy & execution: Develop impactful go-to-market strategies on global membership, ensuring we are effectively raising awareness, comprehension, conversion and retention of our customers with the right message, at the right time.

  • Experimentation: Deliver test-and-learn plans that are measurable and optimized across key channels to measure impact on awareness, conversion and retention to Uber One membership.

  • Business knowledge/acumen: Deeply understand the mechanics and metrics of both the Uber marketplace and its membership program.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years marketing and/or product marketing experience delivering highly successful marketing and engagement strategies.

  • 3+ of those years should be in a product marketing role.

  • You are an exceptional marketer who makes sophisticated products simple and delivers world-class creative across the full marketing funnel.

  • Demonstrated experience workong across multi-stakeholder products

  • Experience using data to tell stories, inform strategies and guide decision making.

  • You are a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated self-starter who enjoys challenges and is not deterred by complicated/complex situations.

  • You are a team player with a can-do attitude who thinks there is no project that is too big or too small to take on.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer technology, marketplaces and/or loyalty programs.

  • MBA or Master's degree nice to have; international experience is a plus.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$166,000 per year - USD$184,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$166,000 per year - USD$184,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
