The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York Postdoctoral Research Scientist in New York, New York

A Postdoctoral Research Scientist position is available in the Iketani Lab at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center (ADARC), to work on developing high-throughput strategies to address pandemic preparedness as well as virological discovery efforts. The position will entail working on ongoing funded projects while also working with the PI to design and implement new projects of mutual interest. The Lab has a successful track record of working on many aspects of SARS-CoV-2, such as drug resistance, and these successes will serve as the basis for some of the projects moving forward. However, the Lab is also broadly open to working on other topics of the candidate's interest, and such potential projects can be discussed during interviews.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace, as we believe that such an environment benefits everyone involved. We are passionate about science and we work hard, but we also believe that science should be fun and that we should be excited about what we do. We are fervent believers in the lab being an opportunity for each and every individual to grow and flourish, and ultimately serve as a beneficial training experience. Every effort is made with these thoughts in mind, and the Lab and PI are committed to your success, both in the lab and beyond.
