Apicha Community Health Center NURSE PRACTITIONER in New York, New York

Position Summary:
We're looking for a caring, compassionate, competent full-time Nurse Practitioner for our Manhattan location. The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive care to families as well as engage in health promotion activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical care to a panel of adult patients on a continuing basis.
Engage in health promotion activities and recruitment efforts for the site.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records about each patient, including observations during examinations.
degree in healthcare, human services, computer science, or related field or equivalent work experiences in related field – Required.
Qualifications:
Master's degree, specifically MSN (Master of Science in Nursing), Doctoral Degree, specifically DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) or equivalent.
Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program.
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adut Nurse Practitioner
Current and valid NYS license.
Current DEA certificate.
Updated BLS and infection control certificate.
Excellent bedside manner.
