OUR IMPACT

The Financing Group - Liability Management Group ("LMG") helps corporations, financial sponsors, and financial institutions in the Americas to address and capitalize on issues and opportunities arising from its outstanding debt portfolio. Typical client dialogue relates to the current debt environment and/ or other strategic initiatives (M&A), LMG is a private side function and part of the Investment Grade Capital Markets/Risk Management Group within the larger Capital Solutions Group. The team works closely with Global Markets and Classic Investment Banking to educate clients and develop innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Design, market and lead the execution of liability management transactions
  • Prospect and onboard new clients to Goldman Sachs LMG
  • Utilize knowledge of corporate finance, derivatives and capital markets
  • Prepare presentations and marketing materials

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong academic record with Bachelor's or advanced degree required
  • Prior relevant experience with credit product origination (IG or Lev Fin). Liability Management experience preferred.
  • Must have quantitative / analytic reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Must be a team player
  • Strong interest in finance, investment banking and credit markets
  • Results-oriented work ethic based upon responsibility, enthusiasm, and pride in work
  • Ability to work on multiple projects

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
