NBC Universal Facilities Manager in New York, New York

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for working closely with the building landlord and internal teams (Client Service Leaders) to ensure proper support is provided, supervising and inspecting all repair and maintenance programs/vendors, responding to and addressing facility related issues/repairs.  The facilities manager will also be responsible for managing trades. Additionally, the role will be responsible for special projects as assigned.

  • Partner with our Facilities Front Desk to ensure work orders are being reported, tracked, and addressed in an effective and timely manner.

  • Work closely with our finance department to maintain operating financial support and reporting; to include the submission and oversight of all purchase orders for facility related vendors.

  • Proactively identify and implement efficiency strategies across the operation.

  • Conduct floor walks, enter work orders, and managing repairs to ensure space is maintained to a best-in-class environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Communications, Construction, or related field.

  • 2+ years facility management experience and/or project management experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and present ideas to clients and leadership.

  • Willingness / ability to work other shifts and / or weekends with short notice.

  • Construction project management experience is a plus.

  • Self-starter; demonstrates initiative.

  • Ability to analyze and present results in Excel and/or PowerPoint as needed.

  • Time Management- able to prioritize work to optimize tasks as needed.

Additional Requirements:

  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite in NY.

  • This role is Monday – Friday, from 3PM- 11PM. Candidate must be willing to cover other shifts as needed (7AM-3PM or 11PM-7AM)

  • Salary range: $75,000 - $115,000 (bonus eligible)
