Job Description
AECOM has a position available for a C onstruction Project Senior Manager to join our Transportation Construction Business Line supporting large multi-year projects as part of the Transportation construction management team. The projects include Transit infrastructure improvements throughout the NY Metro Region and in NJ. The responsibilities for the position include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Complete accountability and direction for entire project, from pre-construction phase to completion and is the primary liaison between AECOM and client interface
Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, design compliance, through contract closeout
Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project
PMC Management of projects that have varied project delivery methods including progressive design build, design build, conventional design, bid, build, etc.
Plans, directs, and supervises all operations included in a large, complex project or several moderately sized projects with greater risk and complexity, and significant financial impact.
Resolves complex issues
Manages projects on a local to national basis achieving quality outcomes, financial performance and client satisfaction
Successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and executes project(s)
Acts as primary point of contact with client and has full responsibility for project delivery
Project teams may include 10 or more members often representing multiple business lines, working in remote locations and including a subcontractor(s)
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree plus 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the projects associated with this position a US Citizenship is required
Transit and Transportation Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with, the senior management team, external project stakeholders including senior client management leadership
Software proficiency in Procore, SharePoint, MS Project
Certifications: PE,CCM, NICET, PMP, DBIA

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $180,000.00 - $290,000.00.
